Jon Jerome has been affiliated with the charity since 2004. He served as a volunteer and then Director of Development before taking on the responsibility of President and CEO in January of 2007.
Under Jerome's leadership, H.E.R.O.E.S. Care has provided more than 70 million dollars in material and financial aid to military members and their families. Shortly after taking on his current role, he began the process of working with the leadership of other charitable entities to develop a framework of holistic care that would become the unprecedented and effective H.E.R.O.E.S. Care program.
Jerome is a life-long resident of the St. Louis area. Honors include the Missouri Governor's Conspicuous Service Medal, the Department of the Army Civilian Service Award, National Guard Minuteman Award, the Bank of America Local Hero Award, the National Guard Outstanding Center of Influence Award, and the Challenge Coin of the Secretary of Defense.
Rev. Brandon Dunman serves as Outpost Coordinator for H.E.R.O.E.S. Care, recruiting and arranging for the training of caregivers across the country. He is also responsible for communicating with the partner entities to ensure military families enrolled for care are properly supported in the communities where they live.
Rev. Dunman began working with H.E.R.O.E.S Care as a warehouse volunteer in 2009 before taking on his current full-time role in 2010.
He continues to serve as Pastor of Lebanon Baptist Church in Bloomsdale, Missouri. In 2011 Rev. Dunman received the George H.W. Bush Points of Light Award for his work on behalf of service members and their families. He never served in the military. He has chosen to devote his skills and energy in the service of those, and the families of those, who serve.
Dave Woolley joined the charity as a volunteer in 2004, the advisory board in 2006, the Board of Directors in 2007, was appointed as the board Vice Chair in 2009 before taking on the role as Vice President in September of 2012.
In addition to his role at the charity, he serves as the greater St. Louis Area Chair for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and the Director of Technology for the St. Louis Regional Alliance for the Troops (RAFTT).
Woolley brings to the charity over 35 years of fortune 500 retail management experience in both multi-store operations and human resources management.
Rob Sheahan joined H.E.R.O.E.S. Care in May of 2014 as case manager for the charity. He served 33 years in the military in both Active Duty and Reserve capacities, deploying during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Rob retired from the Illinois Army National Guard in 2013 as a Command Sergeant Major. He brings a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the needs of and the issues facing service members and their families.
Just prior to joining the charity, he served four years as the Survivor Outreach Support Coordinator for eastern Missouri and southern Illinois, helping Gold Star Families and Families of the Fallen of all branches cope with the loss of their loved ones.
Rob maintains strong relationships with area social service groups, local veteran groups as well as state and federal service providers and is very a strong advocate of maximizing entitlements and benefits service members have earned.
